Betting on European football this week

Nick Barends14.03.2016

Tomorrow evening we have Atletico Madrid playing agains PSV. PSV is the last of the Dutch teams that's till playing in Europe and it's going to be hard to beat Atletico, but thay came to a 0-0 draw at home, so they might have a slight chance. The Dutch team can use their striker Luuk de Jong again who was suspended during the home game. Getting a goal against Atletico is going to be tough though since this team has only had 12 goals against in the Spanish league.

The other match of note is Manchester City against Dinamo Kiev, but it's pretty clear who is going to win this one after the 1-3 victory bij Man City last time.

Champions League football

On wednesday we'll have a couple of great matches to start with Barcelona-Arsenal. Barcelon seems unbeatable and they managed to get a 0-2 victorie in London last time, so it's not a bad idea to back the Spanish team again. The most interesting game is going to be Bayern Munich against Juventus. Bayern gave away a 0-2 lead in their away game and had to be settle for a 2-2 draw. This is not a bad position to start from against the Italians, but it's still going to be hard work to beat them.

Europa League matches

The most interesting matches in the Europa League seem to be decided before they got started. Borussia Dortmund won at home against Tottenham with 3-0 and Liverpool beat Man United quite comfortable with 2-0. The most interesting game of this week however for the punters is going to be Lazio Roma against Sparta Prague. The away game for Lazio was very one-sided in favour of the Italians, but ended in a 1-1 draw. Right now the odds at Betsafe are at 1.65 for the Lazio Roma to win and those are some decent odds!
